Reading
Reading is a fundamental and essential skill for all students. Academic success in every subject is dependent upon the student's ability to read at the appropriate grade level. Struggling in reading has a negative effect throughout all content areas.
Our tutors can work with your child to increase their reading level. They will focus on all reading /language arts components including phonemic awareness, comprehension, creative writing skills, handwriting and spelling. Older students will receive instruction on more comprehensive skills like the advanced writing process and will experience a variety of literary genres. Each child's tutoring program will be personalized to meet their individual needs.
